S.V.S On Discipline

S.V.S On Discipline

The word "discipline" comes from the Latin word "discipulus" (meaning) pupil. Which also provided the source of the word "disciple" (meaning) student.

Also, from the Latin word disciplina (meaning) instruction and training. Derived from the root word discere (meaning) to learn.

Discipline means to become a student to study, learn, train, and apply a system of standards.

Discipline is not rules, regulations, or punishment. Discipline is not something others do to you. It is something you do for yourself. It is not external, it is internal. It is a choice and a decision.

In Sage Vibes Societydiscipline is self-respect in motion.

No hype.

No excuses.

No waiting for permission.

If you can wake up for someone else’s dream, you can wake up for your own. But isn't it interesting that we will wake up to be on time to work for someone else?  Let's focus on being disciplined to lead ourselves. Why wouldn't we set a system of standards for ourselves to move to the next step and phase in our development?

Sage Vibes Society exists to remind us that discipline isn’t pressureDiscipline is alignment.

Stillness is how we choose our standards. The streets are where we test them.

We don’t wait for structure to be handed to us. We build it inward, then move outward.

Still Minds. Loud Streets.
