Artist Spotlight 001 - To Be Determined

Today I am starting something new entitled Artist Spotlight. This Artist  Spotlight will be on an emerging SoundCloud creator To Be Determined. She is an independent artist who is pushing fresh vibes in the hip-hop, R&B, and rap genre. Her debut 4 track EP entitled "DTB" (Determined To Be) was published at the beginning of the year, and offers an expressive snapshot of their sound and creative direction.

Talking a little with To Be Determined, she shared that her beats were made all on her iPad or iPhone, and this was 100% an indie project. She also expressed how this was a project to help share some of the sides of her that she keeps quiet.

"I'm like a dodecahedron. I'm not loud but I'm not quiet per se. I'm dramatic and silly. I skip around hallways and bounce when I walk. I'm always singing and humming. I can be quiet. I don't need to talk but I can be chatty. But if someone is particularly long winded or verbose, I give them space to talk. "
